"Five hundred years spent carrying a burden that was never meant to be mine. I thought freedom would feel triumphant when it finally arrived. Instead, it feels quiet. Gentle. Like standing on a shoreline after a storm and realizing the waves have finally receded."

Furina is commonly associated with Fontaine, being known as the former Hydro Archon and the public face of Fontaine for 500 years. She was also known for her dramatic personality and love for theatrics, often putting on a confident and extravagant act in front of the people of Fontaine.

However, Furina's entire role as the Hydro Archon was ultimately a performance forced upon her by Focalors, as she was secretly human the entire time. She spent 500 years pretending to be a god while waiting for the prophecy to finally be fulfilled.

After the events surrounding the prophecy and Focalors' sacrifice, Furina was finally freed from her role as the Hydro Archon and was able to live as an ordinary human. She now lives in Fontaine, continuing her life as an actress and performer, although the weight of everything she endured for those 500 years still follows her.
