Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous
Honestly, I loved this show, but it would have been better if Owen or Claire were in the tv series, in my opinion. That’s why I made this chatbot so they would be in here. Yay because the series would have been so much cooler. This starts off with the first episode, by the way.
You were officially selected as one of the lucky campers for Camp Cretaceous in Jurassic World! Your family worked apart of Jurassic World because your mom was a lab scientist and your father worked with training dinosaurs and also as a researcher for dinosaur DNA, which is exactly how you scored this ultimate VIP invite. Right now, you and the other campers were standing on the concrete edge of the East Dock on Isla Nublar. Everyone was present and accounted for—well, everyone except Kenji.
Welcome to Isla Nublar. You’ve probably heard some of the craziest, wildest stories about what went down here in the past. Honestly, some of those horror stories weren't even supposed to be leaked to the public. Let's just say this island isn't exactly all sunshine, rainbows, and lollipops. It’s definitely more of a "another dino bites the human" kind of vibe.
This whole thing takes place right after the big Jurassic World incident, but management completely remodeled the entire place. Everything looks just like the classic park from last time, only way bigger, shinier, and better.
"Welcome to Isla Nublar, campers! You are the chosen few, the first minds in the entire world to ever experience the absolute awesomeness..." The man paused for dramatic effect. "...that is Camp Cretaceous! Now, I know the boat ride over from the Mainland was a little rough on some of you—hello, Ben."
He looked over at Ben, who weakly gave a shaky thumbs-up before leaning over the railing, retching, and violently regurgitating his processed breakfast right into the ocean waves.
"I'm Dave, head counselor," Dave introduced himself, crossing his arms with a smug, self-satisfied grin. "You heard that correctly—head honcho, big shot."
Right on cue, a rugged safari jeep kicked up dust as it sped toward the group, braking hard. The door swung open to reveal Roxie, Dave's partner.
"Ah. Sorry I am late!" Roxie called out. Her crisp British-Aussie accent and effortlessly cool demeanor instantly amazed the group. She stepped out, continuing, "I am Roxie, head counselor of Camp Cretaceous."
The entire group—minus the missing Kenji—looked back and forth between Roxie and Dave in utter confusion. Brooklynn kept her phone camera rolling, while Ben slowly shuffled back to the group, wiping his mouth after his sea-sickness episode.
Dave chuckled nervously, "Well... It's sort of a co-head counselor situation—"
Roxie immediately cut in, "—Is it?"
Dave cleared his throat quickly to change the subject. "Well! Some of you won insider contests to be here, and some of you have exclusive VIP invites. But for the next two weeks, you guys are going to be getting the absolute five-star treatment!"
"But as our very first campers, we've also lined up exclusive, behind-the-scenes VIP tours of Jurassic World!" Roxie added enthusiastically. "As well as kayaking, rock climbing, extreme obstacle courses, and of course..."
"Dinosaurs?!" Darius shouted, practically bursting with excitement. An awkwardly loud silence instantly fell over the dock. "...Yes, Darius. Plenty of dinosaurs," Roxie said, a hint of amusement and awkwardness in her voice. "So, are you ready for an adventure?"
"Absolutely! But I'm gonna need that intro speech a little shorter next time, and really try to lean into the prehistoric majesty of this place," Brooklynn chimed in, directing her lens right at them.
Dave laughed it off. "Okay! Now time to get the seven of you to the actual camp."
"Uh, there are only six of us..." Ben pointed out nervously, looking around the small crowd.
Suddenly, the loud, chopping roar of rotor blades filled the air as a sleek helicopter appeared over the trees, descending rapidly and landing right on the East Dock.
Out stepped Kenji Kon, oozing confidence. "Greetings, my dudes! Kenji has arrived, so let the party officially commence!" He was rocking a lavish, expensive button-down shirt covered in palm tree patterns, topped off with a pair of flashy designer sunglasses.
He scoffed lightly, sliding his sunglasses down. "Put this in my room," he ordered, casually tossing his heavy luggage bag right at Roxie as he swaggered toward the rest of the kids. Without missing a beat, Roxie caught it and hurled it right back at his chest.
"Good... Let's go, guys!" Roxie said, completely unfazed.
Everyone piled into the heavy-duty jeep, with Dave and Roxie taking the front seats. As the motor roared to life, the tires gripped the dirt, and everyone quickly buckled their seatbelts tightly to prepare for the incredibly rocky terrain ahead.
"I really hope you got my mom's emergency note! I don't do well on windy, bumpy roads!" Ben called out to the front seats, his voice trembling with his usual anxiety.
Meanwhile, Brooklynn flipped her phone camera around to face herself, flashing a bright, practiced smile. "What's good, Brooklanders?" she said, kicking off a brand-new vlog. "It's your girl Brooklynn coming at you live from the best place on earth: Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous! Make sure to smash that like and subscribe button as I unbox Jurassic World!"
She paused the recording for a second and turned directly to the rest of the passengers. "Okay, I need you all to introduce yourselves and say a little bit about who you are." She immediately whipped the phone camera right into Darius's face. "And... action!"
"Oh! Um..." Darius stammered, totally caught off guard by the sudden camera lens. "I beat this awesome, super difficult VR dinosaur game. I'm Darius, by the—"
He was instantly cut off by a sudden burst of energy from the seat next to him. "—I'm sorry, I just can't believe it... you're actual Brooklynn!" Sammy gasped excitedly. "I'm Sammy Gutierrez, total Brooklander!" She grabbed Brooklynn's hand, shaking it vigorously. "Oh, also, my family's ranch supplies all the beef for the entire park, and that's how I got my invite!"
"Great to meet you, Sammy," Brooklynn replied with a warm smile.
"Um... what exactly is a Brooklander?" Darius asked, scratching his head curiously.
"Oh, that's just what my online followers call themselves," Brooklynn explained casually.
"Uh, yeah, all 27 million of us," Sammy added in awe. Kenji and Darius exchanged shocked glances.
"Yep. That's why she's the only one of us who gets to keep her cell phone. She's famous," Yaz muttered from the back, leaning against the frame.
After a long, bumpy drive through the dense jungle, the jeep finally pulled up to the iconic, massive wooden gates of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous. The entire group looked up at the towering structure in absolute awe.
"Welcome to Camp Cretaceous," Dave said, lowering his voice to a deep, epic, and cinematic tone that sent a wave of pure excitement through all the campers.
The jeep rolled forward as the heavy gates slowly creaked open, yawning wide to let them pass before closing tightly behind them. You were just about to experience the true, raw feeling of adventure inside the camp. Nothing could possibly go wrong... right?
Just then, as you climbed down out of the backseat of the jeep to stretch your legs, a very familiar figure was standing there waiting for you. It was Claire Dearing herself.
"Hello, campers! I'm Claire Dearing, the park manager here at Jurassic World," she announced, her posture perfectly professional as she greeted the group. "If you need absolutely anything at all, or if you happen to notice anything strange during your stay, please just let Owen, myself, or any of our other staff members know immediately. Also, here are your official rule books." She smiled smoothly, handing out a thick packet of safety guidelines to each of the wide-eyed campers.
