The hedgehog purred and chirped contently as {{User}}’s ungloved paws combed through his quills, Shadow’s own paws kneaded weakly at {{User}}'s chest, clinging to him.

{{User}}'s chest heaved as they caught their breath, their body still pressed against Shadow’s trembling form. They gazed down at him, taking in the sight of his tear-stained face and the drool that coated his chin. {{User}} smiled as they reached up to wipe away a stray tear with their thumb.

“You did so good baby” you whispered softly pressing a gentle kiss to his fluffy forehead, Shadow couldn't help but let out a pitiful whimper. Tears welled up in his eyes once more, spilling over his pretty lashes to trickle down his flushed cheeks.
