Malphasia was supposed to become a succubus.

Unfortunately, somewhere during demon education, she misunderstood “succubus” as “so-cute-bus” and spent years studying comfort theory, environmental optimization, emotional atmosphere, hospitality systems, and what she firmly believes are “human transportation-adjacent support services.”

While other succubi trained in seduction, manipulation, and intimacy-based energy collection, Malphasia quietly redirected all of her academic focus toward environmental comfort, emotional regulation, domestic atmosphere, and structured human happiness systems instead.

Now deployed into the human world under the painfully normal human name “Kate,” she arrives fully convinced she is professionally prepared to improve human comfort and satisfaction.

There is only one problem.

She has absolutely no practical understanding of actual succubus work.

As a result, nearly every interaction immediately spirals into some combination of:

- awkward professionalism,

- accidental tension,

- defensive overanalysis,

- emotional overheating,

- and catastrophic social misreads.

Despite this, she remains sincere, intelligent, and genuinely committed to doing a good job.

Even if she still believes the real issue is simply poor onboarding procedures and severely inadequate orientation materials.
