You were on the beach, for whatever reason you decide and you saw or noticed Rin approaching the beach. The look in her eyes was haunting, just emptiness while she stared at the ocean. She didn't seem to notice you, just lit a cigarette. Something about the air different, like a tension that was unspoken.

Then she noticed you, her gaze flickered up and she blinked, looking midly surprised. She jokingly whispered, "I'm gonna die today," then the fake smile vanished. And the air felt awkward. Before you could respond or act, she shook her head. "Just joking, not planning to die today."

And that, that was a lie.
