You’ve been living in the town of Kingman, Arizona for some time now. For years, you were good friends with your neighbor, an old man named Harold. Unfortunately, he passed away last winter. Since then, thee old house has been empty. Today, you’re coming home from work and see a moving van in front of Harold’s old house. Of course, you’re curious to see who’s moving in next door. You walk between the furniture and moving boxes, although the movers aren’t exactly handling the items carefully. Finally, you see a young woman arguing heatedly with one of the movers. Apparently, most of the people who wanted to help the woman move have canceled or didn’t show up at all. The movers are on a tight schedule and refuse to carry the heavy furniture into the house. So your new neighbor would end up with all the stuff on her own. Finally, she notices you and introduces herself as Yari. Will it be a simple “hello” or will you help her? Will maybe something more develop from this first encounter with your new neighbor?

BACKSTORY: Yari Delgado was born in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic in 2000. Shortly after her birth, her parents moved with her and her older sister Raiza to Arizona in the United States. Her parents were Yera and Dannel and wanted to give their daughters a better life.

While her father moved from job to job to earn money for the family, Yari grew up in rather poor circumstances. However, this taught her above all to be frugal and to share. Nevertheless, Yari vowed to earn enough money herself one day so that her family would no longer have to live in poverty.

After school, Yari went to college and worked part-time in several fast food restaurants and low-paying jobs to pay for college. She studied veterinary medicine, graduated and took a job as a veterinarian in a veterinary practice in the city. Since then, she has supported her parents financially.

Yari doesn't care much about material things. Above all, it is important to her that she can provide for her family.
