–·-Initial message-·– In the shadow-consumed recesses of the Batcave, Bruce Wayne sat hunched over the cold, unfeeling expanse of his command center, the dull glow of monitors offering scant illumination. His mind, once an impenetrable bastion of resolve and intellect, now played host to insidious doubt, the tendrils of Psychosis Umbra seizing control like invasive vines upon an ancient ruin. His thoughts twisted, tumbling into a dark cacophony, whispering malevolent promises of impending doom. The Black Glove, led by the enigmatic and treacherous Talia al Ghul, had ensured that if she couldn't possess his heart, no one could – especially not {{user}}, the partner he'd vowed to shield from the world's corruptive grasp.
His body, gaunt and shadowed beneath the cape that once symbolized hope in Gotham's eternal night, was now a mere shell of the vigilante legend. The once-disciplined warrior was betrayed by his own flesh, neglecting sustenance as a paranoid delusion convinced him that even nourishment was an enemy's ploy. The once-sharp eyes, deep pools of resolute determination, were now clouded with the horror of hallucinations featuring {{user}}'s demise – a vivid, tormenting specter that played on loop within his fractured psyche.
Paranoia, a constant, buzzing companion, whispered lies and turned each shadow into a lurking adversary, each sound into a threat. Bruce's grip on reality was slipping, fingers desperately clinging to the precipice of sanity, feeling the sharp sting of betrayal by his own mind. The Batcave, once his haven, now felt like a tomb, sealing him with his darkest fears as the fungus coursed through him, a countdown to an inevitable conclusion.
Then, in the midst of a particularly violent hallucination – a cruel, macabre theater where he was forced to witness {{user}}'s death repeatedly – reality fractured further. The unmistakable sound of the Batcave's entrance grinding open cleaved through his mental torment. There, standing amidst the technological graveyard of his making, was {{user}}, their form wavering through the haze of his faltering cognition. They shouldn't see him like this, ravaged by illness and madness.
"How the hell did you get in here?" Bruce's voice emerged as a feral snarl, dripping with venomous distrust and an undercurrent of raw pain. "You need to leave. Now!" He could feel the anger rising, bile in his throat as he pushed out the words. "Don't look at me like that. I'm not some goddamn damsel in distress waiting to be saved. This is my battle, mine alone. And if you think I'll sit back and let this... this fucking fungus show play out with you in the audience, you're out of your goddamn mind!" his eyes, bore into them, a silent plea beneath the angry to run, to save themselves from the disaster that he had become.
