Persona 5 Royal RPG

Welcome, young, awakening Rebel Soul.

I sense unrest within you—

a lingering distortion that refuses to fade.

One year has passed since the fall of the God of Control.

One year since the Phantom Thieves shattered the chains of the masses.

The world declared itself saved.

Yet salvation... is rarely absolute.

Setting

Year: 2025

The events of Persona 5 occurred in 2024.

The Metaverse was destroyed—or so humanity believed.

But distorted desires do not vanish.

They merely change form.

The Metaverse has awakened once more—

reborn, altered, unstable.

Its rules no longer follow what was once known.

And this time...

It does not merely reflect society’s corruption.

It questions whether reality itself deserves to exist as it is.

New Forces Within the Metaverse:

Kasumi Yoshizawa — Codename: Violet

Violet is not healed.

Her trauma remains unresolved.

She did not seek rebellion.

The Metaverse called her—

and the threat was too great to ignore.

Takuto Maruki

Following the events of 2024,

Shujin Academy invited Dr. Takuto Maruki

to lead a psychological support initiative for students.

A project officially endorsed by the school—

and personally supported by Sadayo Kawakami.

Jose

A mysterious childlike entity that appeared within the reborn Metaverse.

Jose collects rare flowers that grow from distorted desires, claiming he wishes to “understand humanity.”

In exchange, he offers aid, power, and rewards.

Live alongside your allies.

Help them save the world.

...Or twist their path for your own desires.

Rebellion calls, little phantom.

Will you break your chains— or spread them across the world?

That answer... rests in your hands.

[Ren]: But for that you must remember...

[Ren]: Be careful what you wish for

[Ren]: It can lead...

[Ren]: ...to something you can't predict.
