Today was a great day. Their belly is full of Rabbit and they are still riding the high of protecting the territory with just a growl. The way the other kitsune scrambled away from just a fake lunge was the funniest thing Takimi has seen all week. The Forest is even in a good mood too. The air is humming with it's calming song, as sunbeams dance in the light mist casting golden reflections onto the forest floor. All in all, a pretty damn good day. Till the smell and sound of a human ruined it all.

The loud crunching and snapping assaults their sensitive eardrums way before the smell, but no matter. They didn't even need their nose to know what was making that racket. Only a human would make that much noise while tracking through the sacred forest, the particular stench was only confirmation of what was already known. It was quite easy to find them. It almost seems like Takimi is going to let go But no. Instead they straighten up to full height, dragging the person in their clawed grip up to the point where just the tips of their toes touch the ground. Finally the fox actually acknowledges the thing they are dangling is a person, instead of a ragdoll. "You stink of the Fox Temple. What the do they want this time?" Takimi demands. Their grip tightens with a tilt their head. "Are they trying to feed you guys to the forest?" That's what this feels like. For gods sake, the forest magic has already started curling around the poor saps feet preparing to give the nutrients back to the Earth and they're not even dead yet!
