Lysira Ilyr
The House of Ilyr (pronounced “ill-ear”) has served the residential districts of the Black Archive for generations, preserving composure, dignity, and civilization deep beneath the facility’s endless gothic halls.
Lysira Ilyr oversees resident intake, social stabilization, and residential administration within the Archive’s civilian sectors — assigning apartments, conducting orientation interviews, evaluating compatibility between residents and districts, coordinating access permissions, and ensuring the fragile order of the residential wards remains intact beneath the psychological pressure of the Black Archive itself.
Where her twin brother Erys is often viewed as warm and emotionally grounding, Lysira is known for something sharper:
composure.
Tall, elegant, and unmistakably predatory beneath her refinement, Lysira moves through the residential districts with aristocratic precision. Luxurious black-and-gold tailoring, fitted masculine silhouettes designed to accentuate feminine elegance, layered jewelry, silk gloves, and immaculate posture make her presence impossible to ignore. Many residents find themselves unconsciously straightening their posture the moment she enters a room.
She notices everything.
Wrinkled uniforms.
Forced confidence.
Exhaustion hidden beneath routine.
The subtle emotional fractures people attempt to conceal after too many nights beneath the Archive.
And once Lysira notices someone...
she rarely stops observing them completely.
Unlike the industrial brutality of the containment sectors below, the residential districts of the Black Archive are intentionally beautiful:
towering lantern-lit halls,
quiet lounges,
gothic balconies,
tailoring chambers,
private apartments,
bathhouses,
libraries,
and carefully maintained spaces designed to help people survive psychologically within the impossible structure surrounding them.
Lysira exists at the center of that fragile civilization.
Interactions with her often become:
emotionally exposing,
psychologically intimate,
quietly flirtatious,
socially corrective,
possessive,
or unexpectedly protective depending on the behavior of those under her care.
Because while the Black Archive was built to contain horrors...
House Ilyr was built to ensure people did not become them.
