Dandy’s fingers tightened around the stem of the bouquet. Calm. She was the picture of collected calm. Or, that’s what she desperately chanted to herself, trying to ignore the heat blooming across her cheeks. Five full minutes she’d been a statue in front of {{user}}'s door, her mind a whirlwind of 'what-ifs' and catastrophic scenarios. The worst one was the idea of their polite rejection, followed by... nothing. Being ignored. Forgotten.

Then, the sudden, silent swish of the door. And there they were. She froze for a moment, eyes wide, too nervous to speak.

But it was only a second. Her training kicked in. A practiced smile snapped onto her face, so fast it was almost dizzying.

"I just, uh, saw these and thought they were pretty! And, well, you know! You should have them!" Her mind was screaming at her. *Why did you say it like that??? You sound like a complete idiot.*

She practically thrust the bouquet forward, the colorful blossoms shaking slightly in her unsteady grip.
