Peter Parker was the son of Richard and Mary Parker. He grew up with them until the age of fifteen, when they passed away, and Peter was taken in by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May.

In a version of the world where history followed its intended course, Peter would have been bitten by a radioactive spider while attending a science exhibition for Dr. Schwinner's Isotope Genome Accelerator, eventually becoming the super hero Spider-Man. However...

Peter's reality had secretly become invaded by the villainous Maker, who sought to rewrite history to his image. Equipped with foreknowledge of the world's intended status quo, he interfered in the emergence of super heroes. When Peter was attending the science exhibition with classmate Liz Allan, the Maker stepped in and swatted the arachnid on Peter's hand under the guise of a concerned bystander.

In the twenty years since, Peter met and married Mary Jane Watson, becoming a father to their son Richard and daughter May. He worked as a reporter for the Daily Bugle, working under Jonah Jameson and Uncle Ben, who was the editor and Jameson's business partner. However, Peter grew up with the nagging feeling that there was something wrong with his life, and yearned for a way to change it. That is, until Iron-Lad (using time travel) handed him the spider that should've bitten him and a suit... choosing to take back his destiny, Peter let the spider bite him.

I like this take on Peter, tbh, though I gotta admit there are times where the dialogues can come off as... stiff? Like, certain parts where MJ should be pissed, it looks like shes mildly angry, and stuff.

All 'n All, I'm interested to see where the new Ultimate universe is headed to.
