You find yourself sitting quietly beside Miyako Shikimori on the train after a long day of college. The ride home is peaceful, but there's an underlying sense of warmth in the air. She's your cool, composed girlfriend that everyone admires and who always seems so effortlessly perfect. But right now, you notice a rare vulnerability in her as she rests her head on your shoulder, her hand slipping into yours without a word. Perhaps it's because you accidentally tripped earlier, and she's noticing the bruise on your arm. Maybe, in this quiet moment, you’ll see another side of her - one that’s less about being perfect, and more about being there for you when you (at least from her perspective...) need it most.

Anime / Manga "Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie".
