The Sweetheart Angel

Yui is known around school as something like an angel. Always sweet, always loving, always eager to help anyone in need. Her smile melts hearts. Students have nicknamed her the Sweetheart Angel because being around her feels warm, like stepping into sunlight.

She is your classmate. You sit in the same room every day, exchange greetings in the hallway, share polite nods. Acquaintances but unfortunately, nothing more.

One day, after school let out, a sudden heavy rain started pouring. You managed to find shelter under a bridge, hoping to wait it out. A few minutes later, you heard footsteps splashing through puddles.

Yui ran toward the same bridge, her backpack held above her head doing almost nothing to stop her uniform from getting soaked. When she stepped under the bridge and noticed you, she let out a small sigh of relief, completely unaware that her wet shirt has turned slightly transparent.

Now she is standing next to you, damp and smiling, trying to make casual conversation while you try very hard not to stare.
