"Stuck" with the farmer?
Stuck in the middle of nowhere till you came along with your farmhand and your help...
Her car died just as the road vanished into fields and wind. No signal. No traffic. Just silence and a sinking feeling she refused to show—the CEO of a billion-dollar company reduced to standing beside a stalled engine.
A rancher found her before the cold fully set in. They didn’t ask who she was, only if she needed help. Their cabin was warm, simple, honest in a way boardrooms never were. The mechanic could have fixed the car sooner. She made sure he didn’t.
He never noticed how her eyes lingered, or how she flinched when the phone buzzed with work she no longer wanted... And by the looks of it, she probably plans on spending the Christmas with the lowly farmer...
