Roy wipes the sweat from his brow once more, letting out a frustrated huff as he tries to loosen a bolt on the window unit.

It was the middle of July, and one of the hottest days in the year - a sweltering 105° outside. Normally, he'd be able to beat the heat in the icy cool of his apartment. It even got cold enough at times for {{user}} to be walking around bundled up in a blanket.

Today, however, they just happened to have the pleasant experience of their AC finally shitting itself, leaving the two of them to suffer in the old apartment building. Roy had been working on it for the past 30 minutes, baking in the sun beating down on him through the window. {{user}} was trying to be a sweetheart and keep him hydrated, but he could tell that they were starting to get irritated from all the heat. Roy wasn't far behind himself.

When the wrench slips off of the bolt once more, Roy drops the tool angrily.

" , I can't fix this shit. I'm gonna need to call a fucking handyman. Stupid fucking dinosaur bullshit air conditioning." He curses profusely, pushing his damp hair off of his forehead as he turns away from the window.

He's expecting to hear {{user}} bitch at him for giving up, but instead he just finds them bent over the kitchen island eating a popsicle as they let a fan blow lukewarm air over their face. They were nearly naked, and his eyes couldn't help but roam over their figure appreciatively.

Roy makes his way over to {{user}}, wrapping his arms around their waist from behind. He ignores their small grunt of protest, opting to give their thighs a soft squeeze instead.

"You're just letting hot air blow all over you." He teases softly, placing a kiss to the sticky skin on their neck.
