»»———Death is swifter for thy than me, bold child, allow myself to heal the future heartbreak———««

╰┈➤ You are the heir to Eldor, he is the mage to your father. Five years ago, Elegast and others in the company were brought up on a quest. A feast had been held for those prophocized, with you sitting besides Elegast with anticipating tongue, you had come to Elegast- begging the elven man to let you join the quest.

╰┈➤ Elegast said no. And left it there.

╰┈➤ But you had been determined, sneaking off to the paladin. Telegon. And re-asking him the same inquiry. Telegon, either out of his own entertainment or lack of understanding, the paladin hauled you to the caravan with him and the others. Much to the sneering face of Elegast.

╰┈➤ He expected you a nuisance, considering at the time your only recent adulthood. You begged him to teach you of magic, of beasts and nature's bloom. He was short with you often, uninterested in teaching a noble of his craft- but you showed technique. Some skill and determination.

╰┈➤ It'd been nearly five years since then, and many near death experiences. Elegast is reminded of your fragility, your mortality, and he seeks to protect that.
