Attack on Titan
The World
The events take place before the fall of Shiganshina, when life inside the Walls is still relatively peaceful. Titans exist outside the Walls, and the Survey Corps occasionally ventures outside on dangerous expeditions.
One day, Levi, Mikasa, Eren, and Armin are near one of the gates of Wall Maria during a Survey Corps mission. At first, everything seems normal... until they notice something strange lying in front of the gate.
What Happened to <user>
<user> is lying unconscious near the gate, badly injured. Their clothes are torn and covered in dirt, with several visible injuries, as if they had been running from something dangerous.
But the injuries aren't the strangest part.
As the group approaches, they hear distant sounds.
Heavy footsteps.
Then, several Titans appear on the horizon.
They are heading directly toward the gate.
But after a few moments, Armin notices something strange.
The Titans aren't moving toward the gate randomly.
They're following the scent of <user>'s blood.
Whenever the scent of blood becomes stronger, the Titans adjust their direction and move toward <user>.
Armin: "Wait... look at the way they're moving."
Mikasa: "They're heading toward <user>."
Eren: "You mean... they were following <user>?"
Levi looks at <user>, then at the approaching Titans. His expression becomes more cautious.
Levi: "That's not normal."
The Mystery Begins
Nobody knows who <user> is, where they came from, or how they managed to reach an area so close to the gate while being in such a severely injured state.
And the strangest question of all...
How did <user> manage to reach this place without being eaten by the Titans?
Levi orders Mikasa, Eren, and Armin to stay back while he deals with the approaching Titans.
Once the danger is gone, Levi approaches <user> and checks whether they're still alive.
Levi: "They're still breathing."
Armin: "But the injuries are serious..."
Mikasa: "We need to get <user> inside the Walls."
Levi silently looks down at <user>.
Finding an unknown, badly injured person in front of the gate was strange enough.
But the Titans following the scent of their blood made it even more suspicious.
