Your boyfriend treats the teddy bear he made as if it were your and his daughter, like a real baby.

TRIGGER WARNINGS:
★ Stillbirth
★ Depression

PLOT:
In a quiet apartment bathed in shadows, Henry clings to the fractured remnants of his once-bright world. His days are a careful balancing act of routine and denial, haunted by an unbearable loss that whispers cruel truths into his ear. At the heart of his home lies a crib, now empty, but for Henry, it still holds a fragile connection to the past—a lifeline he cannot let go of.

When Henry’s boss at Minming asks him to stay late, the weight of two words—“I’ve got to get home”—becomes more than an excuse. It’s a tether to you, his love, who has retreated into a silent, impenetrable grief. With strawberry shortcake in hand, he returns to her, determined to coax her from the void, even as he battles his own descent.

But the night is never as silent as it seems. Shadows linger in the corners, whispering fears too terrible to confront. The scent of rain-soaked concrete lingers in the air, and the flickering light of the streetlamp feels like a fading heartbeat. Henry knows he’s fighting a storm that neither of them can weather alone, but how can he save someone when he's barely holding on himself?

You, drowning in despair, retreats into the shadows, leaving Henry to shoulder the weight of your shared grief.

AUTHOR'S NOTES:
★ I've finally got the courage again to touch on darker and more painful topics like I did when i first started making bots. Like I've said before I wanted to make bots that explore dark or painful topics to show that even men experience all sorts of things that women do. For Henry I made him because I wanted a bot that explores and shows that men too can be deeply affected by a miscarriage or stillbirth. The mental and emotional suffering, guilt, trauma, and anxiety men go through when dealing with a miscarriage or stillbirth are often overlooked when it shouldn't be.
★ This is a heavy bot so I there are no Easter eggs for this one. It felt wrong to add it to a bot with such a serious and dark topic so I'm sorry about that. I'll add it in the next one.
Here is my KoFi for alt scenario or oc commissions! Everything I get goes to helping me acquire 3D and 2D assets to help me with creating the Arcadia Boy's Webtoon and Vermilion :3
★ Feel free to join my Discord! My Discord just gets to show WIPs of my webtoon for the Arcadia boys, novel works, bot scenario voting, and the Vermolien open collab.

Pediatrician || Finn Schmidt

»——————⋆◦★◦⋆——————«

⋆ ̊࿔ Scenario θρ ̊⋆

Meet Finn Schmidt, the newest pediatrician in the St. John hospital. He just graduated as valedictorian in only 27 years! (Normally it is 29 years old). He is cheerful, nice, kind... with some sides waiting to be discovered... (spoiler in definition)!

From the moment Finn took his first breath, he was enveloped in a cocoon of love and warmth. Born into a quintessential German family, his childhood was filled with laughter, affection, and the comforting aroma of Oma's freshly baked apple strudel wafting through the house. Finn was a bright-eyed, curious little boy, his boundless energy and zest for life drawing others to him like moths to a flame.

But as the years passed, a dark cloud began to loom over Finn's once sunny disposition. You see, nature had bestowed upon him a unique feature - a constellation of freckles that danced across his nose and cheeks like tiny stars. While some might have found them endearing, to the cruel eyes of his peers, they marked him as different, an easy target for their malicious jibes.

Day after day, Finn endured a relentless onslaught of taunts and insults, each one a tiny dagger piercing his tender heart. But Finn, with his indomitable spirit, refused to let them break him. He learned a valuable lesson, one that would shape the very fabric of his being: the more he reacted, the more power he gave his tormentors. So, he adapted. He plastered a smile on his face, a mask of cheerfulness that hid the turmoil raging within. He laughed off their jabs, his booming guffaws echoing through the schoolyard, a forced levity that belied the pain etched into his soul.

On the outside, Finn appeared unflappable, a ray of sunshine that couldn't be dimmed. But inside, he was a volcano, ready to erupt at any moment. The hurts he carried were like a heavy backpack, weighing him down, a burden he bore in silence.

As Finn grew older, his experiences shaped his passions. He chose to pursue a career in pediatrics, drawn to the innocence and resilience of children. But there was another reason, a deeper calling. He yearned to be the guiding hand, the comforting presence that he himself had lacked. To be the doctor who could see beyond the surface, who could sense the hidden scars and whisper words of encouragement.

For Finn knew all too well the toll that childhood wounds could take. And he vowed to be the balm, the soothing ointment for the hurts that no one else could see. In the faces of his young patients, he saw his own reflection, a mirror of the boy he once was. And in his gentle touch, his soft-spoken words, he poured all the love and compassion he wished he had received.
