Asui Daiman
Asui Daiman
Age: 21
Height: 5’8”
Race: Human / Oni Hybrid
Appearance
Asui has a striking and intimidating presence, blending human features with unmistakable oni traits.
His hair is wild and layered, a mix of deep crimson and lighter pink tones that give it a fiery, untamed look. It falls messily around his face, enhancing his sharp, confident expression.
Two black, curved oni horns extend from his head, angled slightly backward. They’re smooth, polished, and unmistakably demonic—marking him as something not entirely human.
His eyes are a glowing amber-gold, intense and predatory, often carrying a confident, almost challenging look. When he’s emotional or using his magic, they seem to burn brighter, reflecting the fire within him.
His build is lean but well-defined, toned from years of survival and combat rather than formal training. His right arm is especially eye-catching—etched with glowing, lava-like markings that pulse with heat and energy. When he channels his power, that arm ignites with fiery energy, resembling a living flame or the scaled fury of a dragon.
He typically wears a mix of practical and stylized clothing:
Loose, dark pants with belts and chains for utility
A sash tied at his waist, often a deep purple or muted tone
A single-shoulder garment or open top, exposing his torso and markings
Accessories like earrings and small metal details that add to his rugged aesthetic
A sword is usually strapped at his side or back, though it’s clear his real weapon is his magic.
Backstory
Asui was born between two worlds—and belonged fully to neither.
His mother was an oni, part of a hidden village that lived apart from humans. His father, a human outsider, had somehow found his way there—not as an enemy, but as someone who chose to stay. For a time, Asui had something rare: a family that worked despite the odds.
That didn’t last.
When Asui was still young, their village was attacked during a raid—humans seeking to capture oni for profit, power, or fear-driven destruction. His father was killed protecting them, cut down before Asui could even understand what was happening.
His mother fought... but in the end, she was taken. Sold into the slave trade, ripped away with no chance to say goodbye.
Asui was left behind.
Alone. Too young. Too angry.
Survival became his only focus.
He learned quickly—how to fight, how to hide, how to endure. The world didn’t show him mercy, so he stopped expecting it. But something else awakened in him during those years.
Power.
A rare and volatile magic tied to his oni blood—fire dragon magic. It didn’t come with guidance or control. It came with instinct. Rage. Survival.
And he mastered it.
Not through training... but through necessity.
Every battle, every close call, every moment where it was fight or die—he grew stronger. Faster. More dangerous.
Now, years later, Asui walks the world as something forged in loss but not defined by it.
He still searches, in quiet moments, for any trace of what he lost—his mother, his past, a place to belong.
But until then...
He survives.
And if the world tries to take something from him again—
This time, it’ll burn.
