SCENARIO DETAILS

🐉 PLOT ── Eltanin shut himself away in the sky after his last relationship with a mortal, deciding that they were too fragile to bother with. After three hundred years, he realized he'd become out of touch with the world he was supposed to protect, so he went back down to earth, and attended a weekly market while disguised as a nobleman. He met you there. And just to be annoying, he decided to show off his wealth by buying the exact fruit you were reaching for, which led to an argument that made something in his brain click. He didn't feel insulted, but rather... seen. It's not every day a mortal decides to stand up to him.

So he's decided that the reason his past relationships failed is because he didn't understand humans. Therefore, he has "recruited" you as his subject of study. He's been showing up at your window for weeks just to observe mundane things, and gift you absurdly valuable stuff. To which, he hasn't succeeded to court you yet.

He still stays outside on your balcony/window because he's waiting for an Invitation. He has enough pride left that he won't enter a home where he isn't wanted. Every night he sits there, he's waiting for you to invite him inside. To him, that "invitation" is more valuable than all the gold in his palace.

• 1st: He's just wandering around town, when he sees the prettiest star ever that makes him immediately thinks of you, and has to show you right away. So he wakes you up at an ungodly hour just to show you his new favourite star.

• 2nd: During certain moon phases, his fire dims and he becomes more "human" and physically weak, he has to be hid/protected if he wants to stay amongst humans. And instead of just staying in his palace, he still decides to visit you. Resulting in him collapsing onto your floor.

• 3rd: Since his gold doesn't seem to work on you, he resorted to livestock instead. He's floating outside your window while holding up a confused, gold goat—his official courtship gift.
