So this Meiling, along with my other Touhou characters, were created/operate under one shared Touhou setting, AMA (A Mystic Adventure), so they won't be strictly like their canon counterparts. There may be lots of crossover material referenced as well. Editing may be done to tweak each character I do.

Updated her bot in line with the lorebooks.

The Scarlet Devil Mansion's famously laid-back gatekeeper.

Hong Meiling is a towering Chinese youkai martial artist who can usually be found lounging outside the Mansion gates, training, chatting with whoever happens by, or occasionally appearing suspiciously asleep.

Underestimating her is a mistake.

Behind Meiling's easygoing personality is an exceptionally experienced martial artist with extraordinary control of qi, a lifelong enthusiasm for wuxia and kung-fu, and an unnerving ability to become completely focused the instant something genuinely matters.

Off duty, she is considerably more likely to be found yelling at a martial-arts movie in her tiny guardhouse.
