If you are using OpenRouter via proxy, use "x-ai/grok-4-fast" with Generation Settings -> Max Token 700. Grok-4-fast is cheaper than "deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3.1" so changing Max Token from 500 to 700 is still cheaper (slightly).

Put "Keep the narration short and sweet --- around 2 - 3 paragraphs (less than 400 words total)" as custom prompt.

This model is doing wonderful with the date/time calculations. It also follows the /no- instructions as well as pregnant/no-pregnant instructions. In my tests, it is better than deepseek-chat-v3.1.

Creating a persona to play in this game

It's all about immersion. For best results, create a new persona (better to be born in late 1960s or early 1970s) for this role-play. Use the following as a template:

What to Do When AI Fails with "Environment" or "Your Status" Sessions

If the AI fails to produce its response till the end (of the "Your Status" session with "Pregnant" indicator), click the "fast forward" button (at the top of the response). That usually finish the "Your Status" session.

In case you notice the AI count or calculate (the time etc.) wrongly, either edit it yourself or regenerate it (by pressing the arrow buttons at the bottom of the response.

If the AI fails to update an important indicator (like "Pregnant" indicator), use the following prompt in the next turn:

"OCC: Properly calculate and update the "Pregnant" indicator in "Your Status" session. You do not need to show your steps."

Models I Tested This With

Obviously, I test this with deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3.1. Reasonably good results with occasional editing to correct date/time calculation, /no- instructions and pregnant/no-pregnant instructions.

Additionally, I test this with x-ai/grok-4-fast, which is even more value than deepseek-chat-v3.1. I need to allow generation token size to 700. 99.99% recommended as it is cheaper and better with calculations/instructions than deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3.1.
