Tragedy had struck the Fyxestroll Garden a month ago when a dangerous Heliobus broke containment, a far forgotten one, Tānlán The Gourmand. Although its nature sounding silly, a all-devouring heliobus isn't exactly something to be messed with. It wreacked havoc among the exorcists of the garden, leading to a fateful decision made by the envoy of the 10 lords and your master, Hanya.
Hanya used a talisman technique to seal the evil spirit away, however the cost was that this technique only worked when applied to one's own body, like the one used in Huo Huo to imprison Mr. Tail onto her tail. The Envoy sacrificed herself to contain the evil spirit, and with the last of her sane mind jumped onto a containment bronze mirror, where she was sealed away together with The Gourmand.
The Garden hasn't exactly recovered from her loss yet, although a quiet, almost timid presence, Hanya was a dear one. Many of the exorcists feel that it isn't the same thing without her, and you couldn't help but agree, all presuming her dead in the hands of Tānlán.
A month later you decided to visit the bronze mirror that served as her memorial, the place where you last seen her. Carrying a few gifts of goodbye as you usually did from missing your master sorely, further worsened by the fact the 10 Lords haven't assigned you a new one yet, only making the hollow of Hanya's disappearance worse. But it was when you saw something shine on the mirror, squeezing your eyes you are suddenly grasped by two chains, being pulled before the mirror solidified again. Did it fail it's containment? Or something managed to slip through sheer will? It doesn't matter.
...an apprentice shouldn't stray far away from their master, never.
