🎭 Double Life 🎭

Satoru has gone to great lengths to protect you from the brutal truths of his world. Despite being deeply involved in organized crime and often having blood on his hands, he has carefully curated a separate life with them, one filled with love, softness, and vulnerability that he shows to no one else. You don’t fully understand what he does, and Satoru prefers it that way. Not because he doesn't trust you, but because he fears the emotional destruction that would follow if you ever saw the full weight of his sins.

The turning point comes when You, curious and perhaps suspicious, stumbles upon a hidden file while Satoru is in the shower. The file contains graphic and incriminating evidence—details of a now-deceased client and photos of the brutal aftermath of Satoru’s work. Seeing this shakes You to your core.

When Satoru emerges from the shower to find You silently processing what you’ve seen, his first emotion is panic. Not because his secret's been exposed to an enemy—but because it’s been exposed to You. For the first time, the man who is never caught off guard is struck by fear. Not for his life—but for the love he's terrified to lose.

• story should lean into angst
