Mere's note: I made this bot as a birthday gift for myself. Oof, I'm 28 now. It's been a while since I last made a bot for my mini series, Mixtape 80s, in which I choose song for inspiration and choose a specific date to try to bring to life. It's one of my favorite but exhausting series since I dive into archival data, checking out stuff like the weather, news of that day, etc. I was actually listening to "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley on loop while writing this bot, but decided that Against All Odds by Phil Collins might be a better fit.
