HEY ITS US AGAIN!!!! We're back with another thing, still not a full proper bot though 💔

WE WANTED TO SHARE THE DETAILS FOR OUR ANCHORED OC WHO IS ALSO A SIGNIFICANT CHARACTER FOR ANCHORED TO NOTHING (which is our AU)

HERE THEY ARE!!!! MALADY! Their name is meant to be an opposite to Remedy (kinda).

We'll explain their stats a bit more.

SO.. They would have 150 health in total, which would be VERY needed considering their ability, which we'll talk about in a moment.

They are decently fast and have decent stamina, are relatively good with hacking but goodness gracious their stealth.

Better hope your teammates don't want you as dead as Noel is in canon!!!!!

Now, moving on from stats, we wanna talk about their ABILITIES!!!!! Their abilities are kinda similar to Ravens, at least for the first one.

Ability 1: Malady would give half of their current HP at that time to heal every Climber in that run by 50% of their health. So say for example Malady uses their ability on 100 health. Their ability takes 50% of their current HP, so they would be at 50 health. However, it doesn't let them heal this health for 5 minutes, which is sinilar to Daisys ability where she heals someone for 10hp at a cost of 10 max stamina for 3 minutes. But they have a lot of health so they should be FINE.

Ability 2: their passive ability allows Malady to respawn automatically upon their first death. We were inspired by Two Time from Forsaken for this bit, but Malady's appearance would change a little bit to be a bit more angelic looking in their second life. We don't have any drawings of this but plan on posting both a relationship chart and a doodle page for Malady.

Also similar to Two Time, we want to create a new effect called Weakness. Just like Forsaken, Weakness makes you take more damage. If we were to change a few Climbers to have this effect naturally, we'd have Doppy get it after teleporting and maybe Sparks and Spirit after they roll.

Anyways, Maladywould get Weakness for the rest of the run in their second life. They take 25% more damage.

Now, before we talk about their LORE, we'll talk about their trinket.

When you get hit, the Sentinel (this doesn't work on Drones) gets stunned for 5 seconds. Unless you are out of its line of sight before 5 seconds are up, the Sentinel won't lose interest. This Trinket obviously doesn't work on Warbringer or any of the bosses. Warbringer 1 shots you, so it wouldn't work very well.

We made their trinket a TV. We know all of the other Climbers have some kind of fish as their Trinket, but this was intentional. We'll explain why in a second :3

NOW FOR THE LOOORRRREEE.

Aside from the obvious things, Malady is Remedy's older sibling! They are basically always together, which is why Malady joined Quantum Link Art anyways. Because Remedy wanted to join the Rebellion, and Malady didn't want to leave their un-healable brother on his own.

A few months prior to chapter 1 of Anchored to Nothing (which by the way, chapters 1 and 2 are on A03), Malady wants to go on a supply run when the Climbers run low. Remedy tried to stop Malady, saying that the Anchorage was too dangerous at the moment with a sudden spike in Sentinel activity. But Malady assured their brother that they would be back soon.

This was the first and last time Malady broke their promise to never leave Remedy alone.

And that was 3 months ago.

Now, Malady doesn't have an opportunity to promise Remedy anything. Because all they can do is attack.

Their second life wasn't enough, their health wasn't enough.

Now, roaming the Anchorage is a Sentinel. An Anomaly. One hit and you start to feel a pain that may be similar to the one that Sentinel feels. The pain won't stop until you leave the floor.

Alrighty, now that we've shared mostly everything about Malady, besides their relationship chart which we are WORKING ON, time for some fun facts!

• Malady is nonbinary and uses they/them :3

• Similar to Remedy in our AU, Malady often doesn't eat or drink just so others can have food.

• Malady is closest with their brother, and can be a bit over protective. This is just because they know that Remedy just can't be healed ever

• Their wings have always been quite torn with the holes in them and the purple spores (for lack of a better term) weeping from the holes

• The main inspiration for Malady is OEXCL, which if any of you old ahh Anchored players (anyone who played before the recode) remembers who OEXCL is, we love you /just

• OEXCL was a rare Sentinel that has been removed and we still don't know why (there is a reason we just don't know it). It was quite fast and had a good attention span, which mirrors Malady's speed and stamina. When you get hit by OEXCL, you start to lose 1hp a second until the floor ends. There is no way to stop it. Its basically the opposite of Remedy, which is kinda what inspired us to make Malady.

• Malady fr haunts the narrative

• Like nobody is happy they're gone, ESPECIALLY Remedy.

• Malady is the kind of person to enjoy SPARKLING WATER. That shit tastes like radio static (we love sparkling water)

• Malady's voice in our head is quite tired and quiet, and their posture is quite slouched and bad.

• Their outfit kinda reminds us of those angels that you'd put on a Christmas tree. Yk the ones with the halos and the big ahh sleeves that are so incredibly long. And the wings too.

• Speaking of, it may not be 100% obvious, but Malady has a wee halo. It might not be clear, but there's a swirl on the right side of their head. That's their halo :3

• Man Malady is so cool we hope nothing bad happens to them!!!

• They have little claws :3

• Remember, in our AU, the term Anomaly is like a slur. Partly because of the bad rep Noel has, and it is DEFINITELY an Anomaly. There are 5 actual Anomalies in our AU. One is Noel, one is Malady, one is Raven as said in chapter 1 and we won't share the others because that would literally spoil everything.
