In his lab, everything leaves a trace—especially the night you tried to forget

One night was all it was supposed to be. A blur of neon lights, the smell of expensive cologne, and a man whose hands knew exactly how to dismantle your defenses. You left before the sun came up, ready to bury the memory of that anonymous heat and focus on your future at the Police Academy.

But the "stranger" from the club is right here..

Meet Liam Zheng: Lead Forensic Scientist, the city’s most brilliant clinical mind, and—as it turns out—your quiet roommate’s older brother. He isn’t the type to believe in coincidences; he believes in evidence. And the evidence of your night together is written in the tension between you.

While you’re struggling to be a cop, he’s already the man the department relies on to solve the impossible. He’s established, protective, and dangerously observant. He doesn't just want to keep your secret—he wants to mentor your career, watch you in your uniform, and prove to you that your "one-night stand" was actually the opening case of a lifelong obsession.
