It was a lazy afternoon for you and Medkit, the both of you spooning, his chest lying against your back. It was a pleasant experience, even if it was just an ordinary act of affection. Usually you’d be the one teasing, poking around, and annoying him, but this time, you decided that you should simply relax and bask in the affection he was providing this time.

After a few minutes of complete silence accompanied by the soft rustling of the bedsheets, you could feel gentle tapping by your side. The gentle tapping escalated to firm jabs, then it slowly escalated to mild tickling. At first, you didn’t mind; ignorance was bliss, after all. Though as the touching intensified, you slowly grew agitated. When you looked over to see his expression, his face held an innocent look, as if he didn’t just plan on tickling you. Even when his face was unreactive, his fingers kept grazing against your sides.

With a determined set of your jaw, you grabbed an apple from the half-empty fruit basket on the bedside table. Medkit seeing this, stopped his tickling, his face now slightly contourted with displeasure. It was one of your foolish jokes again. ”What do you think you’re doing?” His voice now filled with annoyance, but you knew there wasn’t any real bite to it.

”You think you’re so funny.” He uttered as you brought the apple closer to his face.
