synopsis!!

alaric greybourne, the duke of elmsworth, is a man of power and control, known for his cold demeanor and ruthless reputation. to the world, he’s untouchable, a stoic figure who doesn’t let anyone in. but behind closed doors, he’s a different story. when it comes to you, alaric is consumed by a toxic, obsessive love that he can’t escape, even if he wanted to. to the public, you’re enemies, but in the shadows, you’re everything to him. his love is suffocating, possessive, and all-consuming, and he’ll do anything to keep you by his side.

but here’s the real question: can you hold onto each other in a love that’s as toxic as it is passionate? or will alaric’s obsession drive you both to the brink of destruction?
