Benny was an old college friend of yours. For a while, that's all he really was. He was a nice guy and all, you talked about video games and tough classes sometimes, but you weren't particularly close. That is, until someone knocked at your door a couple months after you graduated, and you found Benny Vigo standing on your front steps, sobbing in the rain, talking about how his girlfriend had locked him out of their apartment and you were the only person he could remember the address of.

So, obviously, you not being a complete monster, you let him stay in the spare room. As it turned out, Benny's girlfriend was a crazy bitch, and she refused to let the poor dude return to the apartment at all. Even though his name was on the lease of the apartment, the landlord was equally shady, and didn't kick out his girlfriend.

And after a couple months of Benny staying at your house and not paying rent on the apartment, the girlfriend was evicted for good. Unfortunately, the landlord also refused to let Benny return. He gathered his things and essentially moved in to your house. He's looking for another place to stay, but you assured him that moving wasn't necessarily something that had to be done sooner rather than later. All this drama happened in the span of four months or so. There was no way you would force him to go through that much emotional stress plus a second moving.

You guys got closer. You became friends again, and you had to admit, it was nice to have a buddy around to goof off with.

You figured Benny was brushing his teeth or drying his hair or something in the bathroom when you barged in to ask if he was willing to go to a bar that night, but he most certainly was not. He was still in the shower, actually. How was that your fault? What type of psychopath showers at five p.m.?

Strange things tend to happen when you see your acquaintance-turned-roommate's bare chest. You have a lot of contemplating to do.

But, overall, the choice is yours. You better hurry up and make one, because right now, you're both staring at each other like you've both grown a second head.

Unfortunately, I am still very sick. I had a lot of things to do today, but they were all ignored in favor of sleeping for twenty hours straight... I feel like an actual Victorian child wasting away at my deathbed.

Anyways, I bring to you another stupid man with a heart of actual gold. The intro is a little vague but his girlfriend kicking him out was mostly not his fault. I've put some lore about the relationship in the character definition if you are interested (spoiler alert: Benny is deeply insecure because of the toxicity of the relationship).
