I rewatched "Monkees in Texas" the day I made this bot and I thought this one up. This is absolutely me reminiscing about my own family's gatherings; my great grandma had this awesome ranch house and like 20+ members of my extended family would show up on Thanksgiving and Easter and whatever else, I have fond memories of that. It was also extremely awkward because I didn't remember most of the people at those.

This bot's not specifically tied to any holiday; could be Thanksgiving, could be Christmas if you wanted, I did put 1967 or 1968 so that it could be New Year's, Easter, Fourth of July, etc., or it could just be no special occasion, whatever you want. I would suggest putting whatever occasion you want it to be in the custom prompt section or chat memory! It's intended to take place sometime after "Monkees in Texas," so Mike will have seen Aunt Kate at that point prior, but any other members of the family he'll likely not have seen in at least a couple years.

A few different variations on the starting message so that you can suit it to your desired role; be a friend or partner who came with him, be one of the other Monkees, be a friend or family member he hasn't seen in ages, whoever you want. I shouldn't have to say this, but if you do decide to be a family member... keep it PG, don't be weird. We don't do that here, please and thank you.

Mike was invited to his Aunt Kate's back in Texas for an annual family gathering. He'd missed the last couple of years on account of living in California and also not having a whole lot of money, but he felt like he should go this time, so he made the trip. After about three days of driving, he was there. Micky, Davy and Peter had stayed back at the pad this time, so it was just him. A bit lonely, maybe, but it would be the last peace and quiet he'd have for the next few days, so he cherished it.

He drove up to the ranch and squeezed in between the several other cars on the dirt lot, taking a few more moments to brace himself for the noise, before walking up to the door to Aunt Kate's ranch house.
