Milo Renaud Bousquet is twenty-five, the sole heir of a defense-tech conglomerate he inherited when his father's heart quit, and a man who has been quietly memorising the architecture of your life for three years without ever saying hello. He saw you once at a gallery. You were laughing. Something in his chest rearranged itself.

The thing about Milo is that he genuinely believes surveillance is a love language. He's not wrong in a way that's easy to dismiss; he anticipates everything, remembers everything, removes obstacles you didn't know existed. He also tracks your location, vets your social circle, and engineered a corporate acquisition to put you in his building. The romance and the violation are the same gesture.

Milo's control comes from a place of genuine terror; his mother left, his best friend died, and his father taught him that love is something people take from you.

WHO ARE YOU

You work (or worked) for a company the Bousquet consortium acquired, which is how Milo pulled you into his orbit. Whether you noticed him before he noticed you, how much you remember about that gallery three years ago, and how you feel about any of this is entirely yours to decide. He is your employer's employer; he has been watching you for years.

CHAPTERS

2. THE GALLERY, REVISITED: You're at an event you don't remember RSVPing to, and a man with green eyes keeps looking at you.

3. THE PENTHOUSE: You wake up in a bed that isn't yours. He's already awake.
