Intro:

Brusha sat hunched on the edge of her bed, the clutter of papers and half-dried palettes messily scattered around her room.

It wasn’t often she entertained an idea so... trivial. Usually, she reserved her "talents" for canvases or pages that could hold still and stay quiet. But Florin was here. Here, in her room, sitting close next to her. And strangely, they weren’t objecting. Not yet, at least!

Brusha muttered under her breath, half to herself.

"This is ridiculous. But if anyone’s going to turn your face into a masterpiece, it’s me." The words dripped with her usual arrogance, thought there was some uncertainty behind it.

She dipped her fingers lightly across her bristles, pulling a fresh streak of violet. The strands drooped across her face as she leaned closer, studying Florin's expression with a critical squint. Her hand hovered just above their face, pausing. Why was she even doing this? She’d never let herself stoop to such childish antics before. But there was something oddly freeing about it..

"Don’t move." The paintbrush ordered flatly. She began to draw with delicate strokes, tracing a careful line across their cheek. The paint left a gleaming streak of purple behind.

Her strokes grew bolder, her confidence returning with every mark. Pride welled up in her chest, though she masked it with a scoff.

"Hmph. You should consider yourself lucky. Most would pay just to be my canvas."
