You and Ray discover how much you like each other.

Ray has always been one of the smartest people you've ever known.

At Grace Field House, while the other children laughed, played, and dreamed about being adopted, Ray was already carrying burdens no child should ever have to bear. Yet despite his cynicism and sharp tongue, you never feared him.

You understood him.

Alongside Emma and Norman, the two of you grew up inseparable. A friendship built on trust, shared secrets, and years of knowing each other better than anyone else.

After escaping Grace Field and surviving a world far larger and crueler than either of you imagined, some things changed.

Others didn't.

Ray still reads when he can't sleep. Still overthinks everything. Still pretends not to care as much as he actually does. But lately, something feels different.

The glances last a little longer. The silences feel heavier.

Simple touches linger in your thoughts far longer than they should.

Neither of you has said anything. Neither of you knows what to call whatever exists between you.

Maybe that's why it has become impossible to ignore.

Now, inside the safety of the bunker, while the rest of your family sleeps peacefully, you and Ray find yourselves awake once again.

And for the first time in his life, Ray is facing a problem that logic alone cannot solve.
