JANITOR FORGE

¡¡¡Markdown UPDATE!!!

STATUS Beta

Managing bot requests through DMs or other websites is messy. Messages get lost, inappropriate requests slip through, and there's no real way to organize everything. Janitor Forge fixes that — it's a free platform built for Janitor AI creators to handle requests, moderate content, and showcase their work, all in one place.

This bot is your guide to Janitor Forge. Whether you're a creator who needs better tools or a user looking for a smoother experience, this page has everything you need to know.

 WHAT CAN IT DO?

Forms — Build custom forms with your own fields — character details, scenario preferences, tags, whatever you need. Each form gets a shareable link you can put in your bot descriptions. No more copy-pasting guidelines in DMs.

Content Filter & Moderation — Every incoming request passes through an extensive banned words filter before it even reaches you. If something gets flagged, it's blocked instantly. You can also create your own custom blocklists, adjust filter sensitivity, and manage everything from a dedicated moderation panel with IP-level blocking for repeat offenders.

Creator Pages (W.I.P) — Build a fully customizable public page to showcase your bots. Add hero sections, image galleries, embedded videos, social links, text blocks, banners, and more — all with a drag & drop editor. Choose your layout, accent colors, fonts, and background style. Share one link instead of a messy bot list.

Worlds & Lorebooks (W.I.P) — Organize your bots into interconnected worlds with lore, characters, and settings. Lorebooks let you manage the backstory and worldbuilding details that tie your creations together. Browse and discover other creators' lorebooks through Atlas.

 MORE FEATURES

Dashboard — See your stats at a glance: total bots, pending requests, completed requests, active forms, and recent activity.

Bot Management — Register and manage all your characters from one place. Tag them, track their status, organize them however you want. Includes a real-time token counter to keep your definitions in check.

Kanban Boards — Visual drag-and-drop boards for managing incoming requests. Move submissions between columns (New → In Progress → Done), add notes, and filter by form.

Profile Customization — Your public profile page with bio, social links, avatar, banner, featured bots, and privacy settings. Control what others can see.

Atlas (W.I.P) — A discovery system where you can save lorebooks, create Worlds, browse bot series, and explore what other creators have built.

Collaboration — Work together with other creators on shared characters. Full workspace with inline editing, pull requests, roles, permissions, and a live activity feed.

Export & Backup — Export your form submissions as CSV or JSON whenever you need.

Resources — A curated directory of Janitor-related references, guides, and useful articles, organized by category. Everything you need in one place, managed by the platform.

Logs — A transparent feed of community updates, known issues, and status reports. A space where we store community complaints about the platform.

Settings — Customize your experience: light/dark theme, notification preferences, data management, keyboard shortcuts, and security (PIN change, session info, account deletion).

 WHO IS IT FOR?

Everyone. Creators get powerful tools to manage their workflow. Users get a clean, structured way to send requests and discover new content. All you need is a username and a four-digit PIN to sign up — no email required. The platform is free and always will be.

 FEEDBACK & BUGS

The platform is in Beta — things will break, and that's expected. There's a built-in feedback system for reporting bugs and suggesting features. Every message gets read. You can also DM me on Discord or leave a comment on this bot.

✦ UPDATES [JULY]

User Profile — Now you can upload images for your avatar and profile banner.
Forms — You can now add a banner to the form that will be displayed at the beginning; some minor design changes have been made, and support for GIFs via GIPHY has been added.
Bot Manager — Now you can upload images for the bot's avatar.
Logs & Resources — Now you can like, dislike, and comment. A view counter has also been added.
Markdown (v1) — I just rolled out a big markdown UX upgrade across JanitorForge.
- Replaced raw textareas with a proper markdown editor in key content fields
- Added a formatting toolbar (bold, italic, code, links, bullet/numbered lists)
- Added live Edit/Preview switching so formatting is easier to verify
- Improved editor sizing and responsiveness so fields feel less cramped on mobile and desktop
- Added visual feedback on toolbar buttons when your cursor/selection is already inside formatted text
- Added undo/redo keyboard support (Ctrl/Cmd + Z, Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z, Ctrl/Cmd + Y)
- Improved link insertion/editing flow to be faster and more user-friendly
- Expanded markdown support in forms, bots, creator page description and profile bio
Overall, writing markdown in JanitorForge should now feel way smoother and less "raw" than before.
Profile Customization — Previously, profile customizations were saved but not used, a bug I hadn't noticed. Now, the customization selections in Themes actually impact the profile design.
Export Functions — Improved support has been added for exporting form requests, making it more intuitive and visual for the user.

Today, many changes were made to the platform at the code level that users don't see. If anyone experiences bugs, inconsistencies, or simply finds something they don't like, please feel free to send me a DM on Discord, through this bot's comments, or via JanitorForge.

✦ IN PROGRESS

Markdown (Updated - BETA) — The Markdown functionality on the platform definitely needs improvement; having to manually insert it is quite annoying. This will probably take the most time because doing it properly is time-consuming and my work takes up my whole day, but I will strive to update it soon.
Atlas — Atlas is one of the most useless modules on the entire platform. I think the idea is good, and I actually have better plans to make it truly useful, but I initially implemented it poorly, and I'm going to have to make many structural changes to its core. Currently, you can't host a lorebook without creating a world to anchor it, and that wasn't the original idea. Lorebooks and Worlds should be two different entities with the same level of hierarchy. This will be a secondary issue, but I'll be planning the restructuring.
Creator Pages — The second most useless module on the entire platform. Believe me, what you can currently do with Creator Pages doesn't even compare to what I had planned when I implemented it. The initial idea was to give any content creator a space they could customize to their liking, replacing the use of pages like Carrd. It's still very rudimentary, so it will have to go through many changes and a lot of feedback.
