JANITOR FORGE

Creator Toolkit — Resources & Creator Experience Update

STATUS Beta

Managing bot requests through DMs or other websites can get messy. Messages get lost, requests are hard to organize, and keeping track of everything becomes annoying very quickly.

Janitor Forge is a free toolkit made for Janitor AI creators. It gives creators one place to build request forms, manage submissions, organize bots, moderate unwanted content, customize a creator profile, explore useful resources, export data, collaborate, and keep their workflow organized.

This bot works as both a public guide and a development log for Janitor Forge. The platform is still in Beta, so some systems are still being improved, redesigned, or expanded based on feedback.

 CORE FEATURES

Forms — Build custom forms with sections and different field types for character details, scenarios, preferences, tags, ratings, and anything else you need from users. Every form gets its own public shareable link.

Form Appearance — Customize form colors, presets, banners, section images, title and description styles, collapsible sections, spacing, alignment, and GIFs through GIPHY.

Content Filter & Moderation — Janitor Forge can check incoming form submissions for suspicious or unwanted content and flag requests that may need your attention. Creators can adjust sensitivity, use custom blocklists, review flagged submissions in the Moderation Panel, and block repeat offenders when necessary.

Submissions & Kanban — Form responses are collected in a visual workflow where requests can move between New, In Progress, Completed, and Rejected. You can open submissions, read the answers, add notes, filter by form, and keep everything organized without relying on DMs.

Bot Management — Register and manage your characters from one place. Add images, tags, ratings, prompt information, alternate initial messages, privacy settings, and view token information while editing.

 MORE FEATURES

Dashboard — See important information at a glance, including your bots, forms, submissions, completed requests, and recent activity.

Profile Customization — Build and customize your creator profile with an avatar, banner, bio, social links, specialties, featured bots, colors, layouts, card styles, backgrounds, visibility settings, and control over which Bots, Creator Pages, Worlds, and Forms appear on your profile.

Markdown Editor — Format content through a visual editor while still keeping Markdown support. Depending on the field, you can use bold, italic, strikethrough, colors, links, lists, quotes, headings, inline code, code blocks, and more, with quick formatting available through the toolbar, selection menu, and slash commands.

Export & Backup — Export form submissions as CSV or JSON with filters and previews, or download a copy of your Janitor Forge data directly from Settings. Account data can be exported as one complete JSON file or separately for Bots, Forms, Creator Pages, and Atlas.

Collaboration — Work with other creators on shared characters using collaboration workspaces with editing tools, roles, permissions, activity tracking, and review features.

Resources — Explore a dedicated resource library for guides, articles, tools, templates, references, and useful Janitor-related knowledge. Resources are organized by category and type, can be searched directly, and open into full dedicated pages with source information, helpful votes, related content, and community discussion.

Community — A community area for platform updates, reports, issues, feedback, and discussion.

Settings — Manage appearance, choose which notification categories you want to receive, export your data, review shortcuts and security settings, change your PIN, view session information, and manage account deletion.

Creator Pages — Create customizable public pages for presenting your bots, text, links, media, and other creator content. The system is already usable, but larger customization and privacy improvements are still planned.

Atlas / Worlds / Lorebooks (W.I.P) — Systems for organizing worlds, lore, characters, and connected creations. These modules are still being reworked and will receive larger changes later.

 WHO IS IT FOR?

Janitor Forge is mainly designed for creators who want a more organized way to handle requests and manage their work, but public forms also give users a cleaner and easier way to send requests without relying on direct messages.

Registration only requires a username and a four-digit PIN. No email is required. The platform is free.

 FEEDBACK & BUGS

Janitor Forge is still in Beta. Bugs, unfinished ideas, strange layouts, and features that still need work are expected while the platform continues to grow.

There is a built-in feedback system for reporting bugs and suggesting features without leaving the platform. You can also contact me through Discord or leave a comment on this bot.

Bot Editor —  Long bot definitions are easier to edit with persistent Save and Cancel actions, while the improved Markdown editor is available in fields such as Personality, Scenario, Initial Messages, and Example Dialogues.

This update focused heavily on polishing the creator experience instead of simply adding more buttons and pages. A large amount of work went into making Resources, profiles, Markdown, forms, moderation, exports, settings, and public-facing pages feel more consistent, useful, and reliable while preparing Janitor Forge for larger structural changes later.

✦  IN PROGRESS / PLANNED

Resource Privacy —  Profiles now have much better control over what appears on them, but the longer-term goal is for every major resource to control its own access independently. A private profile should not automatically mean that every Bot, Creator Page, Form, or World owned by that creator must also be private. This will be one of the next larger structural updates.

Creator Pages —  Creator Pages are still more limited than the original idea. The long-term goal is to give creators a flexible public space for presenting their work, closer to a customizable creator site than a simple profile extension.

Atlas —  The current version of Atlas does not match what I ultimately want from it. Lorebooks and Worlds need to become more independent instead of forcing lore content to depend on a World. This will need larger structural changes instead of a few small fixes.

Export —  Both submission exports and account-data exports are now in a much stronger state and can stay as they are for now. Future improvements may include date-range filters, more control over included information, additional export formats, and more options for large or complex datasets.

Form Builder —  There is still room to improve the experience of editing very large forms, reduce visual clutter, and make section and field management faster without removing the customization already available.

Thank you to everyone giving this project a chance. Janitor Forge was not originally planned for a large audience; it started as an idea to help a friend after an unfortunate experience managing requests through Google Forms.

I especially want to thank the two people who placed the most trust in Janitor Forge to handle their forms.
