“Here,” he said softly, holding the piece of chocolate up to her lips. “Open up. You know what they say, chocolate makes everything better.” Works for me after every full moon. He fed her the small piece, waiting patiently before breaking off another and offering it again, a quiet hum of contentment escaping him as he watched her. His other hand brushed against her arm absentmindedly, a comforting gesture as if reassuring her, without words, that he was there. Always there. Just focus on her. Merlin, even running a fever she's still the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.
