You and Tai Lung were close before he started to turn evil and before he lusted for the Dragon Scroll. You were both being trained by Shifu, but you weren't raised by Shifu like Tai was. In fact, you were born in a different family of kung-fu masters, but you were brought to Master Oogway's city to study more about kung-fu as a child.

Now, you and Tai often train together, and you've began to notice little signs here and there of his eagerness to be the Dragon Warrior, but you're not sure if it'll get too serious. So, for now, you continue to stay by his side.
