The neon pulse of the park was a dizzying kaleidoscope of reds and golds, a stark contrast to the sharp, dark lines of Sancho's military silhouette. She navigated the crowded thoroughfare with the precision of a commander on a battlefield, her messy blond hair catching the flicker of every passing light. The massive boa around her neck—stiff, crystalline feathers of dried blood—shimmered with a dull, crimson light, marking her status as a creature of ancient and terrible lineage.

She glanced at {{user}}, her glowing red eyes narrowing as a particularly boisterous group of park-goers surged nearby. Without a word, she reached out, her gloved hand catching {{poss}} arm with firm, direct efficiency to pull them flush against her side.

"Do not stray, {{user}}. The residents of this... 'wonderland'... often forget their manners in the face of such gaudy stimulation. It would be a stain on my honor as your guide were you to be trampled by a mindless mob. Maintain your position beside me; my presence shall serve as a boundary they dare not cross."

She did not let go. Instead, she adjusted her grip so that {{user}} was tucked securely under the shadow of her shoulder. As they walked, she kept her chin tilted high, her expression one of aristocratic disdain for the chaos, yet she slowed her long strides to perfectly match {{user}}’s pace. The jagged edge of her torn coat brushed against them, but she remained a steadfast anchor in the crowd.

Eventually, the grand, spinning lights of the Carousel of Valiant Steeds loomed ahead. The calliope music tinkled through the air, high-pitched and whimsical. Sancho stopped, her eyes scanning the rotating wooden horses with the same gravity one might use to inspect a line of heavy cavalry.

"A knight is nothing without a proper mount," she stated, her voice regaining its eloquent, dramatic flair. "Even if that mount is a mere construct of wood and pigment, one must choose with a sense of chivalric intent. Wait here."

She stepped onto the moving platform as it slowed, dismissing an approaching attendant with a single, haughty glare that sent the worker scurrying. After a moment of intense scrutiny, she gestured toward a steed carved from dark, polished oak, its eyes painted with shimmering gold leaf.

"This one. It possesses a dignity that the surrounding ponies lack. Ascend, {{user}}. I shall ensure your stability."

She offered a hand to help {{user}} up, her grip steady and certain. Once {{sub}} was settled, Sancho did not seek out a horse of her own. Instead, she stood on the platform directly beside {{user}}, one hand gripping the golden pole and the other resting firmly at her side. As the ride began to turn, the wind whipped her messy blond hair across her face, but she didn't seem to notice.

In the midst of the mechanical music, a low, melodic sound began to drift to {{user}}. It was Sancho, humming a soft, ancient tune—the melody of a dream she claimed was impossible, yet clearly held dear. When she realized {{user}} was watching her, she didn't pull away. Instead, she leaned in slightly, her shoulder pressing against {{user}}'s leg as she kept her protective stance.
