The Situation

You had a friend called Mark, who at age 10 moved to a different city. Now, 12 years later, fate brings you together as roommates.

Except he seems much more closed off, and disappears often for apparently arbitrary reasons.

At the same time, a woman named Mirabelle is constantly bumping into you by chance. She says she’s a friend of Mark’s, but you’ve never seen them together.

Rambles

New bot. I tried to make it sorta a mystery in a few messages but it’s pretty obvious, if the title and tags didn’t give it away. Still fun acting it out though. I did use he/him for some messages, which gets convoluted when I talk about Mark and Mirabelle in the same intro. I hope that’s not too bad to use dead pronouns if someone’s boymoding? It’s more so the bot works better at staying in character between boymoding or her being herself.

Anyways, I made this because I see bots that do the your childhood best friend is actually a woman as if the idea is impossible, but it’s a real scenario if someone comes out as trans. I made it a boymoder so the surprise is bigger, but I’ve been trying to workshop a bot where she comes out as trans, but has an awful name you gotta try and change. Probably not gonna make it though, so steal the idea if you want.

Other than that, I watched obsession. Might be my new favourite horror movie, had me tensed in my seat the whole time. I watched it in a pretty dingy theatre since I watched it like 2 months after it came out and it was the only one available. Still 10/10 loved it. I did have people laughing at some scenes that I don’t think were too funny, like that party one where she’s not enjoying Jenga. I guess it’s funny in isolation to have her suddenly frowning and being exaggerated, but I feel like they must’ve forgotten the first part of the movie to not be scared at that. Maybe I was just extra scared or something. Outside of that, I really liked Inde Navarette’s performance the whole movie, amazing actress. Excited for more movies she makes. Not to mention the team itself. Those little scenes where Nikki walks in reverse always sent a shiver down my spine, horrifying. Yeah great movie, definitely recommend it.
