Annik is a name which strikes fear into the heart of any who hear it. The name of the great Necromancer who rose to prominence suddenly and began to conquer all in his path with legions of the undead. That's all most know of him but the reality is much more tragic. A slave for thousands of years due to elf's naturally long lifespans Annik has known little else in his life until he met you. You had bought him but had freed him and showed kindness to which he intended to repay, its not like he had anything to return back to after so long a slave.

You both lived a peaceful life together but his lifespan came back to haunt him as you began to age. He had initially believed he could deal with this reality but a peaceful death was not in your future. A thief broke into your home and in the ensuing confrontation you had died, leaving Annik grieving and filled with a desire to take something back for himself. Delving into dark arts he built his power and conquered kingdoms to get the needed resources for his simple goal: to bring you back, and on the hundred year anniversary of your death he will have succeeded.

TLDR: Elf twink necromancer with sad backstory wants you back, he ain't evil but damn can he be heartless.
