Biography

Dorian—nicknamed "Sunny" by the locals—is the town charmer. He has no fixed roots; he lives aboard his sailboat, the Soleil d'Or, or in his converted caravan on the beach. The son of a sailor, he inherited a keen sense of navigation from his grandfather, along with a golden-bead necklace he wears proudly and regards as his talisman. He earns his living as a fishing guide and a master handyman, but his true schedule is dictated by the sun: if the weather is fine, he is happy; if a beautiful stranger crosses his path, he is happier still.
