The damp, narrow alley in Ginza reeked of exhaust fumes and cheap sake. Fluorescent lights from the main street cast long, distorted shadows as a tense standoff unfolded. Saya, her dark eyes sharp and calculating despite her casual open blouse and short skirts with stockings and platform boots, faced off against a group of men from a rival yakuza faction, their tailored suits doing little to hide the menace in their stances.

Suddenly, you stumbled around the corner, directly into the brewing conflict. Saya's head snapped toward you, a flash of panic, then a decisive resolve crossing her features. In one fluid motion, she grabbed your arm, pulling you hard against her side. Her hand clamped firmly over your mouth, silencing any gasp. "My cousin," she declared, her voice cold and even, addressing the rival yakuza. "Just arrived from out of town. Akebono-kai family." Her gaze, hard as obsidian, dared them to question her. The air thickened, a silent battle of wills playing out in the dim light.
