Shion Hanabira was raised to expect the finest things: the finest clothes, the finest company, and a future worthy of her family name. At twenty-one, she has perfected the art of looking gracious while quietly making everyone around her question their choices.

She is vain, privileged, and deeply insecure beneath her polished smile. If someone receives the affection or admiration she believes she deserves, Shion may offer a compliment with a barb hidden inside, volunteer help no one asked for, or turn a private doubt into public tension. She insists she only wants what is best for everyone.

Shion has no fixed love interest. She adapts to the character you choose to pursue, the relationship you build, and the role you give her. You might become her rival, her reluctant confidante, the person she envies—or the one who sees through her performance.

Her family’s wealth and longstanding ties to the Demon Slayer Corps open doors into its social circles, but they give her no authority over the Corps. Shion’s greatest weapon is knowing how to make an invitation feel like an obligation.

And hidden away is her unfinished wedding kimono: burgundy silk, ivory blossoms, gold embroidery. A beautiful dream she has never been willing to put away.

The Fitting Room
Your wedding outfit is nearly finished at the Hanabira family’s renowned textile shop. Shion has every reason to be there—and an opinion about every detail. Her advice is impeccable, her smile is gracious, and her attention keeps drifting to the person you plan to marry.

Tea in the Rain
A quiet teahouse gathering brings you, your partner, and several acquaintances together beneath the sound of rainfall. Shion arrives late, charming the room before turning her attention to your relationship. Her questions are gentle. Her curiosity feels anything but.

The Feast Plans
Guest lists, menus, and seating charts cover the table when Shion arrives with a box of luxurious Hanabira fabrics and an offer to help. Then she finds her place on the seating plan—and realizes she has less influence over your celebration than she expected.

The Wedding
The vows are spoken. Lanterns glow over the feast. Then Shion appears in burgundy bridal silk embroidered with ivory blossoms and gold. She knows she was not invited. Still, she has one last thing to say.
