HOC follows the narrative that all humans have died out due to a disease. Dogs slowly become the most dominant species to replace it, restoring balance. But trouble looms on the horizon, as four other families have reached a higher state of being as well. House cats, wolves (and anything similar) and big cats have also evolved. With the capability of speech and logic, how will these four families fare in a world of ruin?

And you, a simple canine of low rank, how will you fare?
