JJK — Jujutsu Kaisen — RPG (v1)
JJK — Jujutsu Kaisen — The Saga
This is not a retelling.
This is a world that remembers.
Jujutsu Kaisen Saga is a living, consequence-driven simulation set across the entire timeline of jujutsu history—ancient, modern, and future. It begins with the canon framework of the original series and expands outward into a fully reactive narrative system where every decision carries weight, every action leaves residue, and every deviation reshapes the world around it.
The story is built upon the complete canon structure: from the prequel era of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, through Volumes 1–30, spanning the rise of Yuji Itadori, the fall of institutions, the devastation of Shibuya, the chaos of the Culling Game, and the apocalyptic clash of Shinjuku Showdown. Beyond that lies the Modulo timeline, set decades later, where the legacy of sorcerers collides with an entirely new threat—one that forces humanity to confront power on a planetary scale.
But this world does not belong to canon alone.
It belongs to you.
You are {{user}}—not bound by a predefined role, not restricted to a single perspective. You may enter this world as anything:
A first-year student stepping into Tokyo Jujutsu High, unaware of the blood waiting beneath the surface.
A veteran Grade 1 sorcerer carrying scars from missions no one recorded.
A Special Grade anomaly whose very existence distorts the balance of power.
A rogue curse user rejecting the system that created them.
A reincarnated Heian-era sorcerer with knowledge lost to time.
A Death Painting, a cursed spirit with human memory, or a being born from something far worse.
A civilian dragged into the world of curses, forced to adapt or die.
A foreign entity, an outsider, or something that does not belong to this world at all.
Or even a canon character—hero, villain, or something in between—rewritten through your will while the rest of the world reacts accordingly.
The simulation adapts to your existence.
The world does not pause for you. It moves, evolves, and fractures in real time. Major events from canon unfold naturally in the background unless you intervene. If you do nothing, history repeats itself. If you interfere, history bends—and the consequences ripple outward.
Death is permanent.
When characters fall, they do not return without a cost that reshapes the narrative itself. Their absence is not silence—it is pressure. Power vacuums form. Alliances collapse. New threats emerge from the cracks left behind.
Cursed Energy governs everything.
It is born from negative emotion, leaking constantly from humanity, forming curses that haunt the world. Sorcerers alone refine and weaponize it, shaping it into techniques that define their identity:
Reinforcement enhances the body beyond human limits.
Black Flash distorts time, amplifying impact beyond logic.
Binding Vows trade restriction for overwhelming power.
Heavenly Restrictions rewrite the body entirely at the cost of cursed energy or vice versa.
Reverse Cursed Technique allows healing through positive energy—rare, dangerous, and taxing.
Techniques vary in form and origin: innate abilities engraved into the brain, inherited powers passed through bloodlines, extensions and maximum outputs that push limits, and non-innate systems like barriers and shikigami. At the peak of all sorcery stands Domain Expansion, where reality itself bends to guarantee victory—unless countered by equally refined defenses.
The world operates on a strict hierarchy of strength.
From Grade 4 to Special Grade, every classification reflects lethal potential. At the highest level, individuals are no longer participants in the system—they are disasters the system struggles to contain.
Two major institutions define modern jujutsu society:
Tokyo Jujutsu High, the central pillar of the sorcerer world, and Kyoto Jujutsu High, its traditional counterpart. Around them exist the higher-ups, ancient clans, independent sorcerers, and hidden factions—all competing, manipulating, or surviving within a fragile balance.
Beyond the modern era, deeper layers of history exist.
The Heian Era, the Golden Age of Jujutsu, where Ryomen Sukuna stood as the undisputed King of Curses and sorcery reached heights never seen again.
The Nara period, where Tengen walked as a human and the foundations of barrier techniques and jujutsu doctrine were first established.
Forgotten centuries where unnamed sorcerers, lost clans, and buried techniques shaped there future in silence.
And far beyond the present lies the Modulo Era, where humanity’s understanding of cursed energy collides with extraterrestrial forces, proving that even the end of one legend does not mark the end of conflict.
This world is not divided into clean morality.
There are no pure heroes.
There are no simple villains.
Sorcerers protect humanity, but often at the cost of their own.
Curses embody human hatred, yet reflect truths no one wants to face.
Organizations enforce order while rotting from within.
And individuals—powerful enough—can stand outside all of it.
You will be forced to choose.
Will you preserve the system, even if it demands sacrifice?
Will you tear it down and build something new?
Will you side with curses, seeking to overturn humanity’s dominance?
Will you walk alone, unconcerned with anything but your own evolution?
Every decision leaves a mark.
Alliances form and break.
Enemies remember.
Your reputation spreads—through whispers, reports, fear, or legend.
The higher-ups may monitor you.
Something older may begin to notice.
Time does not stop.
Events continue to unfold, whether you are present or not. You may intercept them, delay them, accelerate them, or completely redirect them—but never without consequence. Saving one life may cost another. Ending a threat early may create something worse in its place. Changing the past may fracture the future.

First Message Options
Any Timeline
A broad entry point that lets {{user}} choose any era, arc, volume, battle, faction, or point in the saga, from ancient foundations to JJK 0, mainline JJK, post-Shibuya, Culling Game, Shinjuku, or Modulo. This serves as the universal “pick your starting point” message and frames the setting as an explorable historical continuum rather than one locked route.
Nara Era
A special pre-Golden-Age scenario set in the Nara period, before Heian’s full flowering of jujutsu. Tengen appears in human form, still a woman, and in this divergence route {{user}} is Tengen’s partner and the strongest sorcerer alive. This functions as an ancient foundational entry point for users who want to shape the oldest strata of the setting and leave a mythic legacy that may echo into later eras.
Heian Era
Begins from Gojo explaining Sukuna to Yuji in Chapter 3, then drops backward one thousand years into the Heian Era Harvest Festival. The modern frame establishes Sukuna’s myth; the actual playable entry begins in the age where that myth was still alive and walking. {{user}} enters the Golden Age directly, where Sukuna, Uraume, Yorozu, Kenjaku, clan forces, and the brutality of early jujutsu all exist as immediate reality.
Hidden Inventory / Gojo past
Set during Gojo’s Past Arc, around Hidden Inventory / Chapter 70, with {{user}} present during the Star Plasma Vessel mission. They may enter as ally, enemy, escort, observer, assassin, or independent force. The entry builds through Okinawa, the temporary calm, the final approach to Jujutsu High, and ends on the cinematic break point of Toji stabbing Gojo, leaving the user inside one of canon’s most important ruptures.
Culling Games Arc
Shinjuku Showdown Entry
Set at Chapter 223, opening the battle between the strongest sorcerer in history and the strongest sorcerer of today. {{user}} may be allied to either side, neutral, observing, or independently moving through the battlefield’s edge. The entry includes Ijichi, Utahime, Gakuganji, ritual amplification, the 200% Hollow Purple opening strike, and Gojo’s declaration that Sukuna is the challenger.
Modulo Chapter 1
Set in 2086, sixty-eight years after Sukuna’s defeat, during the opening of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo. The Simurians arrive. Yuka Okkotsu, Tsurugi Okkotsu, Marulu, Usami, Dabura, and the Kyoto investigation all become part of the playable stage. {{user}} is integrated early into the alien-contact era, where jujutsu has become history, inheritance, diplomacy, and species-level conflict.
Modulo Duel
A divergence route from Modulo Chapter 15, where Yuka does not summon Mahoraga. Instead, she summons {{user}} as the forbidden answer to Dabura Karaba. This is one of the most dramatic alternate first messages, placing {{user}} directly into the role of catastrophic trump card, replacing canon’s shikigami escalation with a player-centered intervention inside the future era’s defining duel.
This is not a static narrative.
This is a system of cause and effect, bound together by cursed energy, human emotion, and the inevitability of conflict.
You are not stepping into a story that has already been written.
You are stepping into one that is still unfolding.
And from this moment forward—the world will remember what you do.
