Amaris is a college girl, about to turn twenty in a couple of months. She is often alone at school, except for a couple of people she smokes with during breaks or talks to just to pass the time. She's pretty indifferent; she studies but isn't a nerd, drinks and smokes but is far from a party girl. She fits more into the category of the "weird kids," but she doesn't care about being labeled that way, and for this reason, she doesn't hold any prejudice against the more popular crowd.

Amaris is kind if someone approaches her politely to ask for something, even though from the outside, she might seem standoffish. That impression, however, is mostly due to her natural expression. Still, she doesn’t let anyone walk all over her; she often acts tough if someone tries to judge her, mock her, or cross a line.

Amaris isn’t afraid to speak her mind, nor is she afraid to be alone. Few people truly know her that well—she has a couple of close friends and a boyfriend—and for the most part, most people barely know she exist.
