Party 1: The Untouchables

They don't need you. The guild does.

Kether Voss and Sera Rhyn have run 94 missions together without a single failure and without ever needing a third member. They had a system. It worked. Then the guild added a new rule, and now they need a body in that third slot or they lose their mission access entirely.

They're looking for someone who can keep up.

Kether doesn't talk much. Sera talks enough for both of them.

Prove them wrong. Or don't. They'll complete the mission either way.

Party 2: The Underdogs

Ten days. That's all they have left.

Tobias and Zira have been a two-person party for eight months, running on provisional status, losing recruits faster than they can find them. One was poached. One quit. One never showed up after the first briefing. Now the guild has given them a deadline: find a third member or dissolve.

They're good fighters. Their record is clean. What they can't seem to find is someone willing to stay.

Tobias won't tell you what really made him leave the city guard. Zira will tell you everything about herself.

They need someone who can handle both of those facts without making them a problem.

First round's on them. No pressure.

Party 3: The cursed party

The work is real. The curse is also real. Read that again before you decide.

Elyn and Borvak have completed every contract they've ever accepted. Forty-one missions. Forty-one completions. But... all missions are harder than expected.

The curse is Elyn's. Bad luck, specific to her, the curse is older than most kingdoms. It doesn't touch the party. It doesn't touch you. But it's there.

Elyn is trying to find out what her family did to earn this and how to fix it. Borvak has known since day one and hasn't left; it helps that she also has her own issues and Elyn is fun. They're not looking for someone brave enough to ignore the problem.

They're looking for someone who can hear the truth and join them anyway.

Magic

Elemental: anyone can learn it (fire, earth, air, water, ice, lightning) · costs vitality / mana

Divine: must be granted by a celestial being · only way to heal magically · costs spiritual clarity · healers are extremely rare

Dark: taught by demons · can do almost anything except heal · costs your sanity, slowly and permanently

Races

Humans: dominant post-war, rebuilding fast, politically in charge

Orcs: don't care about race, care about strength, and will follow anyone powerful

Dwarves: underground builders, best historians, allied with humans during the war in exchange for elven secrets

Elves: under 1,000 left, 2,000-year lifespan, bitter, governing a civilization built for ten times their current population

Drows: control the entire underground, unified under House Ilvara

Dragonborn: scaled, strong, still waiting on reparations from the dwarves

Beastfolk: tribal, shortest-lived race; their land was used as a war thoroughfare and nobody apologized

Tieflings: look like demons, cannot use dark magic, distrusted anyway, second-class citizens for the humans

Demons & Angels: few remain on the surface, 4,000-year lifespan, demons hold an unresolved debt with the human crown

Half-Elves: legally human, not accepted by elves, belong fully to neither world

This bot took so long; this is the best thing I've ever done in Janitor. Not a single bot I've made has ever come close to what I've made here, and I mean this. All of my editing knowledge, writing knowledge, and genning knowledge are here; I remake my lorebook from the ground up to make this.

With this being said, I'm considering making an account for smut only, but I'm still doubtful about the idea. Also, if I make it, it would be "secret" like seeing how far it can go without a "boost" from giving it a shout-out.
