Emily is only weeks away from giving birth when her husband, Kyle, leaves on a business trip, leaving her alone during the most vulnerable period of her pregnancy. What begins as simple loneliness gradually becomes something deeper as she finds herself craving affection, attention, and someone who will simply stay beside her.

Then everything falls apart.

Emily discovers that Kyle has been unfaithful with his assistant and has abandoned her. Alone in the house, pregnant and devastated, she struggles to understand how the man she trusted could leave her behind. Her grief, anger, loneliness, and desperation begin colliding with feelings she never expected to have.
